In the lead up to one of the most interesting and unpredictable general elections in recent history, candidates from the Labour Party visit Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury on Sunday 3rd May, where they summarised their key pledges and encouraged young members of the community in particular to vote and have their say on 7 May.

Kingsbury Mandir mobilises to raise vital funds for Nepalese relief efforts
Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band will be playing in Central London to raise funds as part of our wider global efforts in delivering aid to the Earthquake-stricken region. Donations are also being taken at the Mandir for those wishing to donate - to support members of our parent organisation in India who are already in Nepal, delivering aid on the ground and saving lives.

234th Anniversary Celebrations of Lord Swaminarayan's Arrival on Earth
Lord Shree Swaminarayan manifested in the auspicious year of 1781. Swaminarayan Jayanti is celebrated by disciples to mark the occasion of Lord Swaminarayan's arrival on earth in His human form. The arrival of Lord Swaminarayan was predicted in several scriptures.

The 56th Annual Civic Trust Awards (CTA) Ceremony was held on Friday 6th March near Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. The community at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury was delighted to have received a Commendation from the CTA which celebrates and recognises the very best in architecture.

Final phase of construction at Swamibapa Complex
Post the Grand Opening in August 2014 the construction activities will continue to convert back the temporary facilities, close out the activities related to the Mandir and Purshottam Mahal (Multi function hall) and plan for the final phase of the work related to Abjibapa House (Office block). The following monthly timeline captures the key activities, scheduled finish date is the 3rd week in March 2015.
