This year, the day of Gurupoonam was held on Saturday 12 July 2014 marked Ashadh Sud Poonam, Gurupoonam, a day dedicated to one’s Guru.

Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band led Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, seated on a decorated palanquin, into the Temple and saluted them.

A letter from Acharya Swamishree Maharaj blessing the Bolton disciples on this joyous occasion was read to the assembly, and audio recording of Jeevanpran Swamibapa’s divine ashirwad.

Everyone then had the privilege of performing aarti and poojan to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa before receiving prasad (consecrated offering).
