Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band joined the Mayor of Bolton Councillor John Byrne who hosted this year's Armed Forces Day to show support for the men and women past and present who make up the Armed Forces. Also present was Yasmin Qureshi Labour MP for Bolton South East. A special service from the Town Hall steps was led by the Vicar of Bolton.

Also on the day there were special displays and challanges by Bolton's Sea, Army and Air Cadets plus a special parade with the 'Walmington On Sea' Homeguard. Bolton Children's Amateur Theatre, St Peter and Paul's school and Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band who entertained the crowds.
