On 25th April 2009 Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band Bolton performed Dhol Fusion at Reebok Stadium, home for the Bolton Wonderers Football Club, who had a game against Aston Villa. The event was a huge success with over 21,000 people at the stadium.

Initially the plan was to play on the pitch during the half time only. While the band was on the field for a quick practice session before the game, the chairman of Bolton Wonderers Phil Gartside heard the performance and was so impressed that at the last minute he decided that the band should have the honour to walk out the players at the start of the match as well.
