Every year, the "My Memories Walk" event raises substantial funds for Bolton Hospice. This sponsored walk spans 8 miles and commences in Victoria Square, where the local community unites in a shared spirit. This year, the walk commenced with a lively performance by Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band Bolton, and boosted the participants' enthusiasm for the journey ahead, which extended past midnight.
Our chosen charity partner for this year is Bolton Hospice, an organization dedicated to providing expert care and assistance to local individuals grappling with life-limiting ailments and their loved ones. The contributions collected by members of our Mandir and the local community will bolster the charity's efforts to fulfil their mission of supporting Bolton families.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
