Acharya Swamiji Maharaj's Divine Ashirwad Bolton - 19th August 2023

On the evening of Saturday August 19th, sabha commenced with Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performing Sandhya Aarti to the Lord, followed by Kirtan Bhakti and Vachnamrut Granth scripture recitals.

Afterwards, devotees received Divine Ashirwad from Swamiji Maharaj, during which He elucidated: The physical form of the Pratyaksha Lord and other entities might appear similar and exhibit similar behaviours, leading us to perceive them as equal. However, Lord Swaminarayan emphasizes that our kriya’s (activities), driven by worldly attachments, differ from the divine activities undertaken by God and His Satpurush’s, which aim at the salvation and benefit of others. Hence, infinite distinctions exist between the two. Those who mistakenly believe that human attributes and actions are present in God and His Satpurush’s, are agnani (ignorant), and thus remain trapped in the unending cycle of birth and death. Conversely, those who contemplate God and His Satpurush’s murti to exist entirely as divinity, become free from the bonds of the material world and attain salvation, becoming the mukta.

Mahaprasad was served to all to bring the evening to a close.
