Sadguru Din & Divine Ashirwad Raas Utsav
The evening sabha on Wednesday 16th August 2023 began with Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performing Sandhya Aarti to the Lord. Thereafter, there was Gadi Granth parayan Purnahuti.
It was also the ocassion Sadguru Din, a day of profound significance as detailed by Acharya Swamiji Maharaj in His Divine Ashirwad following a 30 minute dhyaan.
Acharya Swamiji explained that on this Adhik Shravan Vad Amas Sadguru Din, the devotion undertaken throughout this month bestows supplementary spiritual merits—a unique attribute of this particular month. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa inaugurated the observance of Shree Sadguru Din and elucidated the rationale behind it, namely "gnan yagna," the pursuit of knowledge about the magnificence of God, and "dhyaan yagna," the practice of establishing a connection with God through meditation. Bapa emphasized that both components are indispensable for spiritual advancement. He explained using the example of wealth, illustrating that just as individuals, regardless of their education, strive to accumulate wealth, similarly, comprehending the power of meditation, empowers us to please God and overcome internal enemies (kaam, krodh, lobh)
Subsequently, all disciples made their way to the hall, where the Samuh Raas event was scheduled to commence. With immense enthusiasm, devotees warmly welcomed Acharya Swamiji Maharaj as he entered the hall, accompanied by exhilarating introductory kirtans that infused the space with a celebratory ambiance for the upcoming evening. The live Raas performance unfolded, featuring a multitude of Sants and disciples skillfully playing an array of instruments, accompanied by the rendition of both new and old kirtans. Bapa graciously bestowed His Divine Darshan upon all the musicians present, along with the countless individuals who joyfully danced in His presence.
