On Tuesday 9th October 2018, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton Celebrated Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's 111th Pragatya Jayanti.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band got the celebrations underway by leading the swagat into the mandir along with young devotees carrying offerings.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's Murti was ceremonially carried on a palanquin into the mandir and the offerings were served to the murti and Aarti was performed by disciples.
This joyous occasion is one of the most sacred days in the calendar for Shree Swaminarayan Gadi disciples.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
