On Sunday 14th July 2013, His Holiness Acharya Purushottam Priyadasji Maharaj listened to the wishes of the disciples in Bolton and granted them permission to celebrate the 71st year of manifestation of His Holiness Acharya Swamishree.

The auspicious celebration started with Swamishree adorned in chandan 'vagha' (ceremonial outfit coated with sandalwood paste) being led into the temple to the cacophony of party poppers, confetti cannons and hooters. Acharya Swamishree took his seat on the Gadi and the sants proceeded to apply some of the chandan to Swamishree's forehead and then respectfully requested His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree to cut the celebration cake.

The main celebrations of the evening included each and every disciple present received a blessing from Acharya Swamishree in the form of cooling chandan paste applied to their faces. The temple was a sea of yellow faces with some of the more exhuberant disciples doing the 'congo' around the temple.

It was an exciting evening where memories were made that would last a lifetime.
