His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree presided over the 3-day 11th patotsav (11th Anniversary of the Installation of the Divine Murti of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa) celebrations of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bolton with the patotsav taking place on Sunday 21st August 2011.
The first day of the celebrations began with Bhakti Nrutya performances on 19th August 2011. In the evening young disciples perfromed many different dances to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree.
The second day of the celebrations took place on 20th August. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree showered His Divine blessings to all after Sandhya Arti in early in the evening. Disciples then had prasad dinner followed by Bhakti Sandhya evening performances and raas.
The patotsav ceremony was performed by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree on Sunday 21st August 2011. Late morning, Acharya Swamishree performed the auspicious ground breaking ceremony. This ceremony marks the begining of the buliding work to extend the existing main temple hall, and the function hall. The ambitious project will also see an extension to the wonderful Swaminarayan Art Gallery with an additional set of traditional murti installed.
