Father's Day was celebrated on 21st June 2009 at Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bolton in the divine presence of His Holiness Acharya Swamishree. Young children honoured the beloved Acharya Swamishree as their true father with a swagat procession, loving flowers and cards. Hundreds of disciples took the opportunity to express their love and devotion to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Acharya Swamishree.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
