    Divya Shakotsav in New Loya - North America

    Acharya Swamishree re-enacted the famous Shakotsav episode for the first time in North America, on Saturday, August 4th, 2018, at Shree Swaminarayan Temple – Secaucus, New Jersey. Disciples from all over North America and the world gathered for this event hosted in New Jersey in celebration of the temple's 17th Patotsav. The event was called “Divya Shakotsav” or “Divine Shakotsav,” as all the episodes performed by the Lord and His Satpurush are truly divine.

    His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj is the first leader of the Swaminarayan Faith to grace and sanctify the beautiful islands of Hawaii, the fiftieth state of the United States of America. From Sunday, June 25 through Friday, June 30, 2017, Acharya Swamishree, a mandal of twenty-six sants, and disciples partook in a week-long vicharan and spiritual retreat of the Big Island of Hawaii, a continuation of the Sadbhav Yatra, which commenced in Australia and East Asia earlier in the month.

    On Monday, July 28th, 2014, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree toured the state of Ohio, visiting the homes and business of disciples whilst elucidating the Lord's supreme upasana. Additionally, on this day, Acharya Swamishree installed the divine murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in two additional Hari Mandirs at the homes of disciples in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Shree Swaminarayan Temple - Delaware Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav & Diamond Tula

    The beautiful murti of Shree Harikrushna Maharaj was seated upon a miniature throne on one side of the scale. Acharya Swamishree and sants then placed sugar crystals (saakar) on the other side of the scale. The tick mark on the scale slowly began to change position as the weight of the sugar crystals increased to one kilogram. Finally, when the weight of the sugar crystals surpassed the physical weight of Shree Harikrushna Maharaj’s murti, the side of the scale with His idol ascended higher than the other, and there were cries of joy all around. Acharya Swamishree and sants spun the scale around for the entire audience to have the divine darshan of Harikrushna Maharaj’s idol during the Tula. In a similar manner, Shree Harikrushna Maharaj was then weighed against one kilogram of silver, gold, and platinum in the form of bars and coins. Each time the scale tipped from one side to the other, there were ecstatic cries of joy from all over.

    Being able to attend the celebration in India is an opportunity of a lifetime because our Gurudev’s Shatabdi is such a significant and exciting event in our Swaminarayan religion. Unfortunately, many of the disciples in North America will not be able to attend the festival due to several reasons. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree has lovingly accepted the prayers of those disciples to have Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa’s Shatabdi Celebration on the grounds of the USA. This grand five-day festival will be held at Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey from Wednesday August 8th through Sunday August 12th, 2007.

    Jeevanpran Swamibapa embarked on His first Intercontinental tour. Swamibapa traveled to Europe and America. The Shat Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav (125 years) of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree and Fortieth Diksha (initiation) Mahotsav of Jeevanpran Swamibapa were celebrated with tremendous grandure in this year.
