The 21st of August marked the fifth anniversary of the installation of the murtis of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Jeevanpran Bapashree and our Gurudev, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa by our beloved Acharya Swamishree, in the Bolton Temple. To commemorate the event, HDH Acharya Swamishree performed the Patotsav ceremony, during which Swamishree and the santo performed aarti, mantra rectial and ankut prasad was offered to Lord Swaminarayan. HDH Acharya Swamishree then conducted the annual flag changing ceremony accompanied by the temple’s pipe band. This was the first occasion that the members of the band had played in the presence of HDH Acharya Swamishree, who was extremely pleased by the efforts that both the young and old members of the band had taken to be prepared for this event.

The proceedings then moved to the sabha hall where the Swaminarayan Gadi Granth parayan was concluded. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree then gave divine ashirwad to everyone, during which He praised the great devotion and efforts that the devotees of Bolton had taken to during the Patasov. The day's celebrations ended with everyone receiving a delicious prasad lunch.
