Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mumbai on 26 May 2009 to celebrate the Patotsav Day of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa who presides in the magnificent Mandir in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.
Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mumbai on 26 May 2009 to celebrate the Patotsav Day of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa who presides in the magnificent Mandir in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.
On 28 May 2009, exactly 42 years elapsed since Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa performed the Murti Pratishtha of Lord Swaminarayan at the Mandir in Babulnath View, Mumbai. Subsequently, in 1989, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree ceremonially installed the Murtis of Lord Swaminarayan – Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree and Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa in the newly built Mandir on Bhulabhai Desai Road, Mahalaxmi. During the morning, Acharya Swamishree performed the Patotsav ceremony of the Lord.
In celebration of the Mandir anniversary, and to mark the 67th year since beloved Acharya Swamishree manifested on this Earth, a performance of devotional song and music was held during the evening. This event was broadcast live over the Internet.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
