Acharya Swamishree celebrates the Shree Swaminarayan Temple London patotsav.

On the 28th August 2005, Acharya Swamishree celebrated the 5th anniversary of the installation of the murtis of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Jeevanpran Abji Bapashree and Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa at Shree Swaminarayan Temple, London.

At 8am Acharya Swamishree commenced the patotsav ceremony with shodsopachaar poojan. The patotsav ceremony continued with the abhishek (ceremonial bathing) of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Jeevenpran Bapashree and Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa followed by the samarpan vidhi during which Acharya Swamishree, the sants and devotees placed flower petals at the lotus feet of Lord SwaminarayanBapa Swamibapa whilst chanting the janamangal stotra.

A magnificent arrangement of sweets and other delicacies where then offered to Lord SwaminarayanBapa Swamibapa which formed the ankut darshan. Acharya Swamishree then cut a grand cake in the ankut and offered it to Lord Swaminarayan before He and the sants performed aarti.

His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree then proceeded outside to perform the dhajarohan (flag-raising) ceremony in the forecourt of the London Mandir. After the flag-raising ceremony aartis were performed by devotees to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. Everyone then listened to our beloved Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's divine ashirwad. Acharya Swamishree then gave His divine ashirwad before the days celebrations ended with everyone receiving mahaprasad.
