A concert of devotional songs was performed by the Sants during the evening of Monday 22 October.

On the actual patotsav day, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the Patotsav ceremony of the Lord on this auspicious day, in the presence of sants and disciples from all around India.

A unique meeting of spiritual leaders took place when Jagat Guru Shankaracharya visited the temple. This Hindu leader was honoured by Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan.

Dr Kusum Vyas, from the Living Planet Foundation, was also a special visitor on this occasion. In collaboration with this charitable organisation, and led by Dr Kusum Vyas, Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan has been promoting the important issues about preservation of ecology and respect for Mother Earth. Acharya Swamishree has had a keen interest in this subject for many years and has given guidance to people around the world on how to look after our environment. The symbol of this campaign is the ‘Kumbh’ (urn) which has now been handed to Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan.
