His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree installed the Murti of Lord Shree Swaminarayan at Gajod and performed the patotsav ceremony at Mount Abu.
Murti Pratishtha in Gajod
Supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan visited the small village of Gajod, near Kera, Kutch, on many occasions. In 1945, Jeevanpran Swamibapa visited Gajod and by the request of the villagers, rebuilt the old, derelict Thakor Temple. Jeevanpran Swamibapa installed the divine Murti of the supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
During the earthquake in 2001, the Temple was badly damaged. So once again, by the request of the villagers of Gajod, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree has had the Temple rebuilt and on 16 March 2006, He installed the Murti of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, and Shree Radha-Krishna. Several disciples from the village of Kera donated significant amounts of money for the re-building works.
