As a further facet to the Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Shatabdi Mahotsav, a two-day convention was held in Ranip, a suburb of Ahmedabad, on 16th and 17th February 2005, in the divine presence of Acharya Swamishree.

This Convention was aimed to provide moral teachings to society and promote Jeevanpran Swamibapa's philosophy of ‘High Thinking and Simple Living'. Acharya Swamishree said that if this simple message is instilled into the people, the entire society will advance immensely as it will not be hindered by immorality, crimes or addictions.

During the evening of the first day, the young devotees of Ranip performed a cultural drama named ‘Paiso Bole Chhe' – Money Speaks. The drama told the story of a young, poor man who was subsequently given some money. Even though it was a small amount of money, it had a massive influence on his character and behaviour. This was because he did not have the guidance of spirituality, morality and decency, to teach him where and how he should spend the money. Eventually, he starts committing crimes and is thrown into jail. The pain and suffering experienced by the man's family as a consequence of his behaviour was enacted.

Hundreds of people from the vicinity of Ranip came to see the drama. They were all moved to see so graphically, the detrimental consequences of immorality.

On 17th February, the second day of the convention, a rally was held through Ranip to convey the teachings of this special event to the general public. At the end of the rally, a special assembly was held in the presence of Air Marshall Shree Satish K Jain, Air Officer Commander in Chief, Indian Air Force, Gandhinagar.

In his speech, Air Marshal Shree Satishji Jain said, “I am deeply touched to receive this accolade today, from the divine hands of Acharya Swamishree. I am not worthy to be honoured in this way. However, I will take this to be an honouring of all the members of the Indian Air Force members who have been killed whilst in service. Today, I want to speak about a greatly cherished moment in my life. When I received an award from the President, I also received a letter of blessings from Acharya Swamishree. That moment was very moving for me. I will never forget the blessings received from Acharya Swamishree. I will remember that moment forever.”

Another chief guest during the Convention was Squadron Leader Aziz Utisa.

In His divine blessings, Acharya Swamishree said, “Without morals, the value of life in infinitely small. How can society advance without a standard of high decency and morality? It cannot. It is essential for one to lead a principled life in order to progress. As children of the merciful Lord Swaminarayan, it is one's duty to abide by the tenets that the Lord has advocated for the advancement of humankind.”
