Sadguru Shree Muktanand Swami has said that the Supreme Lord Swaminarayan and His Satpurush give darshan upon this earth in order to fulfil the spiritual desires of His loving disciples. They disregard their own wellbeing and suffering, and instead, tend to the wishes of the people. A famous saying describes the travels of our divine heritage, "Jyaa daatan tyaa divo nahi, jyaa divo tyaa daatan nahi" (if they have started the day in one place, they will spend that night in another. If they spent the evening at one location, by the morning, they will have gone elsewhere).

On 17th July 2003, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree performed the mangla aarti at Shree Swaminarayan Temple, New Jersey. Immediately after the aarti, He left with His Sant Mandal for Maryland. During the journey, they stopped at many of the major cities such as Baltimore and Chester Town. Disciples from each of these locations had gathered for the darshan of Acharya Swamishree and to gain His divine blessings. It had been estimated that they would reach their final destination for the day, at 7.00 pm. However, many disciples had made impromptu requests for Acharya Swamishree to visit their homes during the day, and as a result, they did not arrive until just before midnight. During this one day, they had travelled nearly 600 miles.

The next day was spent performing padhramanis at the homes of all the disciples in the vicinity of Maryland. Again, as word spread of Acharya Swamishree's arrival in the town, more and more people made requests and unscheduled padhramanis had to be held. Seeing the affection of the disciples, Acharya Swamishree could not refuse anyone, even though He may have been exhausted from the previous day. After holding a special assembly at midday, Acharya departed for South Carolina. The distance for travel on this day was 700 miles. During the journey, many padhramanis had to be performed. By the time they arrived at South Carolina, it was 1.00 am. Everyone just went to sleep without any food or water.

On 19th July, Acharya Swamishree left South Carolina, travelled to Atlanta and then went on to Chattanooga. It was sandhya aarti time by the time they arrived, so Acharya Swamishree performed the aarti and then held an assembly. Many disciples from the region had gathered. The next morning, Acharya Swamishree visited Columbus and Eastman. At both locations, padhramanis and assemblies were held. Acharya Swamishree gave spiritual guidance to all the disciples living there. From Eastman they all travelled to Winter Haven, where they stayed the night. On 22nd July, Acharya Swamishree accepted the wishes of the disciples and visited Sea World. All the animals were able to take darshan of Acharya Swamishree. The mere sight of divine beings such as Acharya Swamishree is so potent, that all souls, even animals, are able to become worthy of salvation. On 23rd July, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Jefferhills, for padhramanis. A special assembly was also held in the town. They returned to Winter Haven late into the night.

On 25th July, Acharya Swamishree and His Sant and haribhakto Mandal left Winter Haven and returned to New Jersey. This was a long and tiring drive, lasting just over 21 hours. This day was also ekadashi, and so the sants and disciples did the traditional oochhhav, and sang bhajans before the Lord. As it was the hindoro season, the young disciples of New Jersey had decorated the hindoro with confectionery.

On 26th and 27th July, Acharya Swamishree visited Ocean City and Atlantic City. A special assembly was held in both locations. Leading local dignitaries, including the Deputy Mayor, Mr Frank Sutton, and key representatives from the local police department, including Detective Robert Koob, were present to gain the divine blessings and darshan of Acharya Swamishree.

The Sadguru Din commemorations were held at New Jersey on 29th July. All the disciples gathered to take part in the meditation, dhoonya, kirtan bhakti etc.
