The golden jubilee of the murti pratishtha in Shree Swaminarayan Temple Kera was celebrated with a 5 day long mahotsav between 17th May 2003 and 21st May 2003
In the year Samvat 2009 (1953 CE), Adya Acharya Pravar Jeevanpran Swamibapa installed the divine murtis of the supreme Lord Swaminarayan and Jeevanpran Bapashree at the newly built Temple in the village of Kera, under the trust of Shree Swaminarayan Sidhant Sajivan Mandal, Kera.
The Mandir became the village's focus for propagating the true principles of the supreme Lord Swaminarayan, which had been eloquently explained by Jeevanpran Bapashree.
Since then, by the immense mercy and divine blessings of Gurudev Jeevanpran Swamibapa, the inhabitants of this village have prospered immensely.
It is 50 years since Jeevanpran Swamibapa installed the divine supreme murtis in the Temple.
With the immense divine blessings and encouragement of His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree, a magnificent 5 day festival, the Suvarna Pratishtha Mahotsav was held in the village of Kera. The Golden Jubilee Celebrations were celebrated with great pomp and ceremony.
This Mahotsav forms a further facet of the ongoing ten-year long centenary celebrations, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Shatabdi.
