Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa established a new Mandir of the divine Karan Satsang in the village of Naranpar, Kutch in Samvat 2013, Vaishakh Sud 3. Sixty years have passed since the Mandir was established. In celebration, with the inspiration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, and as a facet of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj Sadbhav Amrut Parva, a 5 day, auspicious festival is being celebrated, held from Tuesday 25 April to Saturday 29 April 2017.

After performing the mangla aarti of supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa presiding in Naranpar Mandir, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj commenced the scripture recitals of three sacred scriptures – Shreeji-sankalp-murti Sadguru Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Granth and Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato.

Whilst the scripture recitals continued in the assembly marque, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj went to the village Gaushala, where cows, considered sacred in the Hindu religion, are kept and looked after. On behalf of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, the cows in the entire village will be given fodder for the duration of the festival. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj commenced this charitable act of kindness for all life forms by feeding some young calves with fresh grass.

A procession then took place from the Gaushala to the assembly marque adjacent to the Mandir during which 200 motorcycles took the lead. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band from Maninagar performed throughout the procession. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and Sants presided on a golden chariot, giving darshan to all the disciples and villagers.

Second in the spiritual lineage of Lord Shree Swaminarayan was Shree Gopalanand Swamibapa's beloved disciple, Sadguru Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa. His teachings about the Lord's supremacy were unsurpassed. Eminent Nand status Sants came to understand the Lord's true greatness from him. He had profound respect and admiration for Shree Abji Bapashree, as he knew the true identity of Bapashree. He referred to Bapashree as 'Jeevanpran' - life and soul. A new scripture, written by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, contains the biography of Ajod Murti, Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa. This scripture was inaugurated by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj in the presence of Sants and disciples.

A new CD of devotional songs called ‘Sakhi Chal Hari Jova Jaie’ – (My friend! Come to see the Lord), was also inaugurated. The musical director of this composition is Sanjay Omkar, of Bollywood playback fame.

At the start of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s divine blessings, He remembered all the Sants and disciples who were not able to be present during the festival. He then explained the greatness of Ajod (Unparalleled) Murti Sadguru Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa. He was strict in his own conduct and observance of the religious decrees and rules of ascetics, and ensured that all the Sants and disciples too remained staunch and disciplined. He would never allow even a slight digression. Bapa narrates as instance when a Sant specially ordered a set of clothing from Mumbai and wore them in an assembly. Shree Nirgun Bapa made him take them off and burnt them in a fire. He taught that Sants and disciples should be living a simple life, with high thinking, but luxuries like that must be avoided.

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj explained the 15 year gap, which mysteriously occurs in the spiritual lineage of Lord Shree Swaminarayan. Sadguru Shree Ramanand Swami departed from the Earth and fifteen years later, appeared in the form of Sadguru Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa. Shree Ramanand Swami said that he was merely the drum beater, and the entity to be worshipped would be coming. That great entity was supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan. Similarly, that same drum beater, in the form of Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa, resounded his drum and explained that Shree Abji Bapashree was the Jeevanpran – life and soul, of all. Fifteen years after Shree Nirgundasji Swamibapa departed from the Earth, Lord Shree Swaminarayan appeared in the form of Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, for the spiritual salvation of us all.

After the blessings, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj made donations to worthy causes performing charitable activities in the village.

During the evening assembly, Sants and disciples performed sang devotional songs as Sants and disciples of all ages performed communal dance. Everyone was divided into groups and a competition was held on the dancing style and flair or each age category and group. Prizes were given by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj to all those selected by the judges to be the winners.
