Acharya Swamishree's continuing vicharan in Kutch

Having completed the patotsav ceremony of Bhuj Mandir, Acharya Swamishree travelled to the village of Bharasar. On Tuesday 17th May, Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony in the village.

He then departed for the nearby village of Mankuva, where the disciples celebrated the occasion of 60 years since Jeevanpran Swamibapa established the temple in their village. On 18th May, Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony in Mankuva.

The following day was the anniversary of Vrushpur Mandir, so immediately after the assembly had concluded in Mankuva, Acharya Swamishree travelled to Vrushpur, the sacred village where Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree manifested upon this Earth. Acharya Swamishree performed the auspicious patotsav ceremony in Vrushpur Mandir on Thursday 19th May.

Approximately 40km from Bhuj is the historical city of Anjar. Loving disciples of the city ceremonially welcomed Acharya Swamishree and held a grand procession on Saturday 21st May 2011. This was the first time that such an event had been held there. It is recorded in the history of the city that approximately 200 years ago, Lord Shree Swaminarayan remained in Anjar for many days, where He preached about improvement to the society; many people, from all classes of the community, were reformed. People from the so-called backward classes were given honour and respect due to the Lord’s remarkable teachings given in Anjar.

After the grand procession through the main streets of Anjar, a public assembly was held in the city’s exhibition hall, where several local dignitaries were honoured for their community work. Acharya Swamishree gave His divine blessings to all the sants and disciples.

A 2 day celebration was held in the village of Kera to mark the 58th anniversary of the Mandir. On Monday 23rd May, Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony at Kera Mandir. Having concluded the ceremony, Acharya Swamishree returned to Maninagar after a month long tour of Kutch.

Acknowledging the requests of the loving disciples of Kenya, Acharya Swamishree and a group of sants and disciples will be making a short visit to the country. He will arrive in Nairobi during the early morning of Thursday 26 May 2011.
