In honour of such a key figure in India's history, Acharya Swamishree inspired a special assembly, which was held in Tilak Park, on 23 July 2007, Tilak Maharaj's 151st birthday. The event was organised in cooperation with the Ahmedabad Municipal Cooperation.

Lokamanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Maharaj was born in 1856 and became a great scholar and astronomer. He made a key contribution to the Independence of India. In fact, even Mahatma Gandhi adopted all of Tilak Maharaj's ideas about social reform and an independent India.

In honour of such a key figure in India's history, Acharya Swamishree inspired a special assembly, which was held in Tilak Park, on 23 July 2007, Tilak Maharaj's 151st birthday. The event was organised in cooperation with the Ahmedabad Municipal Cooperation.

On this occasion, Freedom Fighter Shree Brahmkumar Bhatt, Health Minister Shree Ashokbhai Bhatt, Mayor Shree Amitbhai Shah, Parliament Speaker Shree Arjunbhai Modhvadiya, and the president of the Lokmanya Public Charitable Trust, Dr Raja Dandetar were present to take part in the special assembly.

After the event, Acharya Swamishree visited Ahmedabad's main jail to give darshan and guidance to the prisoners. He talked to the prisoners and taught them about the way to become reformed citizens.
