His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mount Abu and Swaminarayan Palli to perform the patotsav ceremonies of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa
His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree travelled to Mount Abu to perform the patotsav ceremony of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa at the temple situated at the summit of this famous hill station. The patotsav ceremony was held on Sunday 31 March 2013. During the stay in Mount Abu, Acharya Swamishree accepted the requests of local officials and visited their homes. He also led a boat tour of the famous Lake Nakki.
From Mount Abu, Acharya Swamishree went to Swaminarayan Palli, in the Panchmahal region. Tuesday 02 April 2013 was the 39th anniversary of when Jeevanpran Swamibapa installed the divine Murtis of the supreme Lord in this temple. A splendid procession was held through the streets of Swaminarayan Palli to welcome Acharya Swamishree. On the day of the Patotsav, the local disciples took the opportunity of ceremonially weighing Lord Shree Swaminarayan with silver coins. In addition, they showered Shree Harikrishna Maharaj and Acharya Swamishree with silver flowers.
His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj is the spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the current and fifth heir in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan. He is the incumbent Acharya of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi.
