Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the Utthapan Ceremony of the Lord and the Murtis were removed from the Sinhasans in Bharasar.
In May 2017, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bharasar will have completed 50 years since its establishment. This golden jubilee will be celebrated with a 5 day festival. In preparation, both the men's and women's Mandirs are to be re-built. Before demolition and re-construction can commence, the divine Murtis needed to be re-located to temporary locations. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj visited Bharasar during the evening of Monday 28 September 2015. After the Mangla aarti on Tuesday 29 September 2015, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the Utthapan Ceremony of the Lord and the Murtis were removed from the Sinhasans. Ceremonially, they were carried to the sites of temporary Mandirs in the village, and re-installed in the Sinhasans. The disciples of Bharasar will continue to worship the Lord from these locations whilst the new Mandir buildings are being built.
