Vrushpur has a special significance in our supreme Karan Satsang as this is the sacred village that the almighty Lord Shree Swaminarayan chose to manifest in again, in the form of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree.

Exactly 50 years ago, Jeevanpran Swamibapa inaugurated Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in the village. In celebration of this golden jubilee, and to mark the opening of a new Mandir in Vrushpur, the Suvarna Pratishtha Mahotsav Vrushpur, has been inspired by Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj. The 5 day festival will take place from Thursday 7 May to Monday 11 May 2009, and will be broadcast live over the internet.
