On October 20, 1970, our beloved Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa made history by being the first sant of the Swaminarayan Sampraday to bless North American soil. Forty-five years later and counting, through the guidance and tireless efforts of His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan has blossomed into eleven mandals, five principal temples, five Hari mandirs, and thousands of humble disciples all throughout the Northern Continent. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj has lovingly followed in the footsteps of our dear Gurudev.

Inspired by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, from July 1st through July 5th, 2015, Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan is proud to present a historical North America Convention at Shree Swaminarayan Temple – Streamwood, Illinois.

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj symbolizes simple living, genuine compassion, and honesty, while inspiring selfless devotion unto humanity and Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. Through Sadachar Sandesh (teachings for virtuous living) and Jeevan Pushpa (blossoming of one’s life), scriptures inspired by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, disciples have been able to live humble, respectful, and pious lives, while adhering to the teachings of Lord Shree Swaminarayan. This will be the very first opportunity for all disciples to gather and reflect on Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s endeavors on Sadachar Sandesh & Jeevan Pushpa. This convention will be blessed by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and eminent Sant Mandal.
