Over 150 cricketers of all ages took part in a 24-hour cricket Marathon at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury, aiming to raise £10,000 for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. England cricketing legend, Angus Fraser, kicked off the event on Saturday 7th December 2019.
Celebrations marking the fifth anniversary of the Mandir kicked off on Saturday 24 August with a Grand Parade through the streets of Kingsbury, and concluded on Sunday 25 August with Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performing the Patotsav ceremony at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury.

The Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi was visiting the UK this week and Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band and Dhol Academy from London and Bolton were invited to perform at the welcoming event at Wembley Stadium on Friday 13th February. Furthermore, Shree Swaminarayan Mandirs in Kingsbury and Bolton were two of the official welcome partners for the event, and hundreds of disciples from our community attended the event.

Before departing from London on Monday 9 September, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj officially closed Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Golders Green. It was in 1982 that Acharya Swamishree Maharaj embarked on His first independent international tour – the purpose of this visit was to perform the opening of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Golders Green.

Sunday 9 September 2012 will be recorded in history as the day when Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the Shilanyas Ceremony - foundation stone laying ceremony.
Sunday August 22nd August 2010 marked the 10th Patotsav (Anniversary) of Shree Swaminarayan Temple London. Acharya Swamishree used American diamonds and Swarovksi crystals to shower the divine lotus feet of the Lord during the ceremony.
2009 marks the Silver anniversary of Swamibapa Cricket Club. Under the Divine inspiration of Acharya Swamishree, Swamibapa CC has continued to flourish since its establishment in 1984, and currently boasts over 70 playing members and performs well in the Middlesex Championship League. In celebration of this and in honour of Acharya Swamishree, members of Swamibapa CC organised a special boat cruise on the River Thames, London.
The current temple building in Golders Green has become increasing too small to house all the activities of the congregation. For several years, individuals had been looking for alternative locations but finding something suitable, within budget, and within the locality that would be easily accessible for the congregation had proved a nearly impossible task.
