  બાપા આપે જે મને પ્રેમ આપ્યો છે એ કદી ભૂલાય તેમ નથી તમારી  એ  પ્રેમ સભર દ્રષ્ટિ તમારુ એ  સ્મિત તમારુ બેટા કહી ને બોલવું તમારો એ  દિવ્ય કર મારા માથા પર મુકવો આ બધુ જ યાદ આવે છે આજે હુ જે કાંઈ પણ છુ તે  આપની દયા થી જ છુ અને આપને એજ પ્રાર્થના કરુ છુ  કે હમેશાં મારા દરેક કાર્યો મા આપ જ કર્તા  બનજો આપે જે જીવન જીવવા નો સાચો માર્ગ બતાવ્યો છે તે જ માર્ગ પર આજીવન ચાલુ તમને વચન આપ્યુ છે બાપા આજીવનસ્વામીનારાયણ ગાદી ના શરણે રહીશ અને તમે પણ વચન આપ્યુ છે કે તમે મારો હાથ ક્યારે નઈ છોડો

બસ બાપા એટલુ જ કહીશ સ્વામીનારાયણ ગાદી ના શરણે રહી તન મન અને ધન થી સેવા કરી હમેશાં તમને રાજી કરતો રહુ એજ પ્રાર્થના

" બાપા વિસરી ના જાતા અમને વિસરી ના જાતા

અમે તો વચને બંધાણા "

I remember Maharaja very well indeed. Maharaja was a generous, thoughtful, and sincere devotee of the Lord. Although from a different tradition I saw his Vaishnava behaviour as an example for my spiritual practice. He was so willing to reach beyond boundaries and speak with others heart to heart, to offer prayer, inspiration, and encouragement in all he said, and in all his efforts to serve the Lord.
 

He was so kind and encouraging to me personally, and supportive of our efforts in Oxford to bring Hindu studies to the establishment, and to nurture our own Hindu youth in scholarship. He particularly told me that the excellence of Oxford was a treasure, and we are now adding another gem in the form of scholars of Hinduism. He invited me to speak to the community, as you will remember, particularly to enthuse the young people to take their culture seriously. He was very concerned about this, and we even spoke of establishing a scholarship to support and enthuse them. He was a long term thinker, as the best leaders are, and I was very inspired by his association because of this.

I attribute the success of our Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies to the prayers and blessings of great souls like Acharyaji. I will all remember his blessing for us and have continually taken heart from it.

Meeting Acharya Swamiji Maharaj was an absolute privilege of life time for me. A truly special human being who lived

a life of dedication, simplicity and preaching the goodness of humanitarian values throughout the world. He was a man

of immense spiritual knowledge, vision with strong moral values with kindness and compassion for all God's creatures. 

His thinking of serving the community has been truly implemented by our Swaminarayan Mandir in Bolton.

Hence the contribution of the Mandir with Interfaith and other community groups has been truly immense on numerous 

occasions over many years.

He will be truly missed. May the Lord Bless Swamiji's Soul.
