In 2004, Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj Hirak Mahotsav was held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the installation the divine Murti of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj at Maninagar Temple by Jeevanpran Swamibapa.

The five day festival, held between the 19th and 23rd of February, coincided with the 25th anniversary of the day that Gurudev Jeevanpran Swamibapa handed the helm of the Satsang to the sant of his choice, Shree Purusottampriyadasji Swamishree, and ordained him as the Acharya of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi.

On this memorable occasion, the gathered devotees were granted the unique darshan of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj being weighed against fresh flowers, sugar, beetle nuts, coconuts, and gold and platinum bullion in an auspicious tula ceremony.
