In the millennial year, Acharya Swamishree held three magnificent festivals outside of India. The first of these was a five day festival held at Shree Swaminarayan Arts and Culture Centre in Bolton, UK, from the 16th to the 20th of August 2000.

In accordance with ancient Vedic traditions, Acharya Swamishree ceremonially installed the divine Murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in the main Temple hall. He also unveiled a magnificently painted ceiling, depicting the divine episodes of the Lord and a history of our Satsang.

Throughout the festival, many local and national dignitaries visited the centre and were amazed that such a wonderful spectacle could exist in the UK.
