The first ever Ladies' Day event was held in London mandir on Sunday 8th November 2009. The event was exclusively for female members of the sabha, in which all ages and abilities could take part in bhakti nrutya as well as showcase other talents.

Celebrating Silver Anniversary of Swamibapa CC on River Thames
2009 marks the Silver anniversary of Swamibapa Cricket Club. Under the Divine inspiration of Acharya Swamishree, Swamibapa CC has continued to flourish since its establishment in 1984, and currently boasts over 70 playing members and performs well in the Middlesex Championship League. In celebration of this and in honour of Acharya Swamishree, members of Swamibapa CC organised a special boat cruise on the River Thames, London.

Jeevan Ghadtar Satsang Shibir 2009 - London
Shree Swaminarayan Temple London held the Jeevan Ghadtar Shibir 2009 (Life Essentials Convention) over a series of event this summer. Inspired by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree, these activities are held to promote unity, morality and cultural values within society, between people of all ages. As with previous years, participants were arranged into teams in a competition format.

On Monday 13th July 2009, Cabinet Members, Ministers and other leading parliamentarians and Councillors gathered in the House of Commons along with over a hundred trustees from Hindu Temples from across the UK to congratulate His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree on publishing the English translation of the Rahasyarth Pradeepika Tika sah Vachanamrut scripture, and to pledge their support for the project to create Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Complex in Kingsbury, London.
