Hari Jayanti Celebrations 2008
The 227th anniversary of this auspicious day was Monday, 14th April 2008. In the morning, after performing the ceremonial poojan, the Swaminarayan Gadi Flags were hoisted on to the eight shikhars of the temple as the devotees sang the kirtan 'Shreeji vijay no dhvajo farkavjo'. Coconut, jaggery and coriander Prasad was served to all the devotees.

Final Assembly and Departure to India
This was the penultimate day and the last assembly before Acharya Swamishree and sants returned back to India. Devotees performed a spectacular dance by the tune of 'Oh Bapa! Oh Bapa! kyare have mane darshan desho.'

Vasant Panchmi Celebrations
This day is celebrated by all disciples of the Swaminarayan Sampraday as it is the day that our merciful Supreme Lord Swaminarayan gave us His scripture of commandments, The Shikshapatri. Acharya Swamishree performed Mangala Aarti to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa at 5.30am and after the daily routines, He performed poojan to ceremonial urns at H H Swamibapa Hall.

HH Swamibapa Media Centre and Swamibapa Education Centre
On 9th February 2008 Acharya Swamishree visited the Swamibapa Education Centre and inaugurated the H H Swamibapa Media Centre. Nairobi Web Team members and members of the main committee performed poojan and aarti to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Acharya Swamishree.

2008 Sadguru Din
7 February 2008 - Sadguru Din, Today Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa was adorned in beautiful garments with a rifle, shield and a sword in His lotus hands. This symbolising that we should fight and win over our inner enemies. On this auspicious day, Acharya Swamishree performed Mangla Aarti at 6.00am to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.

2008 Nairobi Vicharan
3 February 2008 - Education Achievement Awards, H H Jeevanpran Swamibapa always encouraged students to achieve good grades and further their education in various fields. Following the footsteps of His beloved Guruji, Acharya Swamishree awarded certificates of merit and gifts to students who had achieved good grades in their Primary, Secondary and Higher level education in the year 2007.

India Republic Day Celebration
On 26th January 2008, India Republic Day celebration was held in Nairobi temple to show the love of devotees to mother India. Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa was adorned in Orange, Green and White garnaments. In the morning, as Acharya Swamishree entered the main temple hall, He was also presented with a beautiful Orange, Green and White flower garland. The colours matching to those of the Indian National flag.

Acharya Swamishree's Visit to Tanzania
On the evening of 16 January 2008, at Arusha temple, Acharya Swamishree initiated scricpture recitals of Shree Abjibapashree ni Vato. The next day, Acharya Swamishree honoured the devotees by performing padharamani at their homes, quarries and factories. In the evening, Acharya Swamishree imparted spiritual guidance to all the disciples of Tanzania, by His divine ashirvad. The following morning Acharya Swamishree performed more padharamani and in the evening gave His divine ashirvad.

Utrayan Festival (Makarshankrati)
Acharya Swamishree Purshottampriyadasji Maharaj initiated the scripture recital on 14 January 2008 at 6.15am after the Mangla Aarti. The scripture recital continued in the evening and the following morning and was concluded in the evening.The temple was decorated with colourful kites and fresh flowers.

Acharya Swamishree's Visit to Masai Mara
From 11 January 2008 to 13 January 2008, Acharya Swamiahree, together with sants and devotees visited the world famous Masai Mara National Park. Acharya Swamishree took a 30minutes flight on Safarilink plane at 9.30am from Wilson Airport.
