His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree inaugurated the newly renovated official website of the Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan on Monday the 28th June 1999. A special assembly was held at the Mandir in London for this opening.

After an introduction to the Internet and to the website, the Trustees of the Sanstha offered Acharya Swamishree a garland of flowers. Those involved in the re-designing of the site also came onto the stage for Acharya Swamishree's divine darshan.

His Holiness Swamishree performed the inauguration and then He gave a brief tour of the site to the audience who was able to view the pages on a large screen. After this, the site was made available for public viewing.

Sant Shiromani Shree Gyandivakardasji Swami had a major role in the re-designing of the site, and is still heavily involved in its running. He spoke at length about the love and affection that Acharya Swamishree shows to His sants and haribhakto, to encourage them, so that they may all excel in the devotion unto the Supreme Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.

Acharya Swamishree then blessed the audience. He gave motivation to those involved with the website. Swamishree talked about the important role that the Internet and this site has, in the communication of information and news about the Satsang to all, throughout the world.

Bollywood's infamous music director Anandjibhai, of Kalyanji Anandji fame was present at the occasion and he was given a demonstration of the site.
