Shikshapatri Jayanti Shikshapatri Jayanti, Vasant Panchmi, was celebrated along with Shree Sadguru Din on Sunday, January 17th, 2010. The celebration started off with a prayer to Lord Shree Swaminarayan in the form of kirtans. The disciples, led by prayers from the Poojari, then performed the Shikshapatri poojan and recital. Young disciples then spoke about the importance of the Shikshapatri and how it impacts their daily lives. 24 Jan 2010

Medical Camp 2009 - Secaucus, New Jersey Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey held its annual medical camp on Sunday, November 8th, 2009. Community doctors, nurses, and temple disciples worked together to provide other disciples and community members with free physical, dental, vision, and EKG checkups as well as blood work completion at no cost. Information and presentations on various diseases as well as healthcare were given throughout the day. The doctors, nurses, and temples who had volunteered their services and time for this event served over 200 patients during the day. 22 Nov 2009

Seminar on Swaminarayan Religion On Friday, September 25th, 2009, a group of twenty students and their professors from St. Peter's College (located in Jersey City, New Jersey) visited Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey for a seminar on the Swaminarayan religion. These students and professors belong to the theology department of the college, and the students were all part of a religion class taught by the professors. 08 Oct 2009

Jeevanpran Swamibapa Jayanti in New Jersey On Friday, September 11th, 2009, the disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey celebrated Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's 102nd manifestation day in the presence of the mandal of six eminent sants that had been residing in the United States since mid-June. This was the first time Swamibapa Jayanti had been celebrated in the presence of sants at Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey. 20 Sep 2009
India Day Parade - NYC 2009 Saturday, August 15th, 2009 marked India's sixty-second year of independence, and on Sunday, August 16th, 2009, a grand parade was held in the streets of Manhattan, New York City in celebration of this occasion. Delaware Sabha - USA On Monday, August 3rd, 2009, hundreds of disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan had gathered at the home of disciples in the state of Delaware.
