Gurupoonam celebrations at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury
An amazing seventy five boys and girls took part in a Swagat Yatra to honour Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa on Gurupoonam.

Swamibapa Football Club, part of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Academy of Sport, took part in the annual SKLPC 5-a-side football tournament.
The Academy is inspired by Jeevanpran Swamibapa, who taught that, "Valuable life skills, such as social interaction and teamwork, can be learnt from recreational activities”.

Over 50 teams entered the tournament across three categories (Mens, Under 16s and Under 11s) with Swamibapa FC entering teams in each. They were cheered on by supporters including parents, coaches, Swamibapa FC alumni and other members of the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury community – who were also proudly wearing the Swamibapa FC kit.

Over 150 'yogis' convened at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury today to celebrate the third annual International Yoga Day
Although IYD is a global campaign instigated by the Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, through the United Nations, the Mandir’s events each year are inspired by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj. An avid practitioner of Yoga Himself, in explaining the full benefits of Yoga, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj states, “In order to succeed in life, your body and mind need to be healthy and pure…Controlling the senses and mind is an art”. By holding events such as today, the Mandir hopes to Inspire the Community to become lifelong students of Yoga.

Over 100 donors Did Something Amazing this Father's Day
Over 100 people attended the blood donation session at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury held on Sunday 18th June on a day when many were celebrating Father’s Day.

Father’s Day, is traditionally a day to honour fathers and father figures. Many people make a special effort to and send cards or gifts. Today, the donors that attended the blood donation session offered others the ultimate gift, the gift of life.

Under 10s help raise over £2,000 for Save the Children by jumping in Muddy Puddles
On Saturday 20th March 2017, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Kingsbury set up a fantastic Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk in nearby Silver Jubilee Park to raise vital funds for Save the Children.

Over one hundred little Muddy Puddlers took part in the event and helped to raise over £2,000 with more sponsorship continuing to flood in.
