On the afternoon of 12th August 2007, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree
departed New Jersey for London, after the completion of the five day Shree
Muktajeevan Swamibapa Shatabdi Mahotsav, USA.
Acharya Swamishree travelled to the UK to fulfil the spiritual wishes
of all the
Shree Swaminarayan Gadi disciples in London and around the country. He arrived
at Heathrow Airport in the early morning of Monday 14th August and reached
Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Golders Green at approximately 9:30. Acharya
Swamishree and the santos were greeted by the crowd gathered for his divine
darshan. Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band saluted His Holiness as He entered the
temple grounds. The band played whilst His Holiness was carried in a palanquin
to the front of the Mandir where Acharya Swamishree ceremonially unveiled a
large banner promoting the Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Centenary London
Festival of Culture, Compassion and Charity, to be held at Trafalgar Square on
the 24th of August.
The Band led Acharaya Swamishree into the temple hall where He
performed arti to
the the Divine Murti of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Jeevanpran Abjibapashree and
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa.
His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree will remain in the UK until the
beginning
of September. During this time, He will perform the Patosav ceremonies
at Shree
Swaminarayan Mandir, Bolton and Golders Green, London. His Holiness has
inspired the Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Centenary London in Trafalgar Square
Festival during the countdown to the grand festivities of Shree Muktajeevan
Swamibapa Shatabdi Mohotsav to be held in Maninagar during October.
