| The Festival of Unity and Compassion began with the recital of the Shree Swaminarayan Gadi scripture. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree then gave His darshan on a beautifully decorated horse-drawn chariot, led by Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band. Young disciples from Mumbai performed a dance to the kirtan, Subh Swagatam. This dance was performed by 54 young boys and girls. |

On the first night of the Festival of Unity and Peace, a special evening of devotional music – “Bhakti bhari Mumbai ki shaam” – was inspired by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree. The evening was directed by the world-renowned musical producer, Shree Shravankumar Rathod. |
