On one occasion Lord Swaminarayan fulfilled the wishes of His beloved devotees and celebrated the festival of Fuldolotsav in the town of Vadtal. The following morning He awoke before sunrise and completed His daily niyams . He adorned His divine clothing and held an assembly beneath a tamarind tree in the town.

Lord Swaminarayan said to the Sants and devotees gathered in the assembly, "Yesterday, we all had so much fun spraying each other with coloured water and throwing coloured powder at each other. I was being chased from all directions, that in order to get away from you I had to climb on top of a dholiyu to escape. We even managed to break it and a few others too!"

Smiling sweetly He said, " Adhbhhootanand Swami sprayed me with coloured water at least ten times and threw fistfuls of coloured powder on me." Then Brahmanand Swami jokingly said, "when an opportunity like this arises nobody will let it pass, they will complete what they have set out to do".

Lord Swaminarayan continued joking with the Sants when Jobanpagi arrived. Jobanpagi had prepared water and powder at house and requested Lord Swaminarayan and His Sants to come to his home.

From a window on the upper storey of Jobanpagi's home, Lord Swaminarayan with His own hands threw coloured powder upon the gathered Sants and devotees and fulfilled the wishes of Jobanpagi. They all continued to play for a very long time, and then Lord Swaminarayan and His sants left the home of Jobanpagi and went on horseback to the well at Sundar Pagi.

At the well, Lord Swaminarayan bathed with platefuls of water form the well. He then placed the bathing water back into the well, making it prasad . After bathing, He adorned pure white divine clothing and returned back to the tamarind tree in Vadtal.
