Lord Swaminarayan's Divine Vision

Lord Ghanshyam MaharajOn one occasion during His travels, Lord Swaminarayan stayed at the home of Devji Luhar in the village of Vandhiyu.

Lord Swaminarayan spoke to His beloved devotee and said "Please be seated in meditation, I will show you the supreme Lords Akshardhaam."

Upon meditating, Devji Luhar witnessed the lustrous vision of Lord Swaminarayan seated upon His magnificent Gadi surrounded by thousands of His muktas on all sides.

When he arose from meditation, he realised it was the very same Supreme Lord that was seated in his home, and fell at the lotus feet of Lord Swaminarayan.

Lord Swaminarayan explained "In your past life you served ten thousand years in penance to please me. From this day on, you must recite only my name."

Devji Luhar replied " My Lord, I have found you, I have attained a priceless diamond, where else would I go?"

Akshardham is wherever the Lord is. Hence, wherever the Lord maybe be travelling, Akshardham is also there. The sole reason for Lord Swaminarayan and His great Mukta to travel, is for the salvation of souls.

It has been explained that, when a soul realises the greatness of the Lord's murti, it can visualise nothing but the Lords murti.
