Kalidutt's Destruction
Seeing Lord Ghanshyam and the children playing, an evil spirit named Kalidatt, changed himself into the form of a child. He joined in and started playing with the other children. One by one, he scared and chased all of the Lord’s friends away by pulling ugly and frightening faces. He then saw Lord Ghanshyam alone, Kalidatt went towards Him with the intent of killing Him. However, as he went closer, Lord Ghanshyam glared at Kalidatt and immediately Kalidatt started burning and retreated in pain.
Kalidatt soon returned in the form of an enormous, terrifying giant. Using black magic he caste a spell to create terrible vicious storms. He turned himself into an eight-mile tall monster, and pushed over the tree under which Lord Ghanshyam was seated. Instead of hurting Lord Ghanshyam, the trees fell and formed a protective shelter around Him.
At this time, Kalidatt became unconscious, making him unable to regain his normal form. The storms he created, took his body and thrashed it against the trees, and Kalidatt fell to the ground. His body was covered in blood and he died in agony. In this way, the supreme Lord Ghanshyam defeated an evil demon in His early childhood.
