For Centre
½ cup Almonds
½ cup Pistachios
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
½ teaspoon Kesar
3 tablespoons condensed milk

Outer Covering
1 cup desiccated coconut
½ cup milk powder
7 tablespoons condensed milk
½ teaspoon green colour
A knob of butter (if required)

Hand grinder
2 mixing bowl
Sharp cutting knife
Chopping board

 

Method for the Centre

1 Grind the pistachios and almonds to a coarse texture. Place into a bowl.

2 Add saffron and cardamom to the bowl and mix.


3 Add 3 tablespoons of condensed milk to bowl and blend the mixture to soft dough like form.

4 Roll the almond and pistachio into oblong shapes.

5 Grind the pistachios and almonds to a coarse texture. Place into a bowl.

 

 

Method for Outer Covering

1 Mix the coconut and milk powder in a bowl to which you need to add green colour.

2 Add the condensed milk to the mixture and blend to a dough like mixture.


3 Once that has been completed get a heaped teaspoon of the green coconut paste and flatten it in your palm.

4 Place the almond and pistachio roll in the middle of the flatten paste.

5 Roll it into shape.(if you feel that the mixture is sticky apply a tiny bit of butter onto your palms)

6 Once you have rolled all the coconut surprises leave them in the fridge overnight.


7 Once removed from the fridge cut halfway through the surprise (lengthways)
