- During each Mansi Pooja, perform the same rituals that are performed to Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj in Maninagar Mandir at those times.
- Through Mansi Pooja, you are able to serve the Lord throughout each day.
- Through Mansi Pooja, you are able to fulfil all your devotional desires for the Lord.
- Offer the Lord all the foods that you enjoy.
- It is said that if you perform Mansi Pooja with dedication, the lowest of disciples will become the ultimate disciple.
- Lord Shree Swaminarayan Himself indicates the importance of Mansi Pooja in the Shikshapatri. He states that even disciples that have acquired a high accolade within the Satsang (aatmanivedi disciples) such as King Ambarish must perform Mansi Pooja, and
they are allowed to proceed with their other daily affairs only thereafter (Slok 55).
- Lord Shree Swaminarayan has described the correct method of performing Mansi Pooja and adapting each Mansi Pooja according to the seasons and significance of each day. This explanation is in Vachanamrut Gadhada Last Section Chapter 23.
- Jeevanpran Swamibapa has extensively elaborated on Mansi Pooja in His collection of divine discourses, Shree Jeevanpran Swamibapa ni Vato Part 2, Varta 137.
