All the Temples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan are constantly holding various different charity events, according to the needs of the community living there. Such charitable work is actively encouraged by Acharya Swamishree.

At Shree Swaminarayan Temple Mumbai, which is situated in the prestigious region of Mahalaxmi, a Calcium Deficiency Diagnosis Clinic was held on 2nd January 2005.

Over 400 patients living in the Temple vicinity were tested free of charge by 5 doctors and technicians. Advice was given and medicines dispensed to those who were identified to have deficiencies.

The City Council in particular acknowledged the valuable social work of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Mumbai and commended Acharya Swamishree and Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan for providing such medical aid to those who were unable to afford it.
