Synopsis

The scripture, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi, contains a narrative describing the supreme heritage of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi - the divine, spiritual office of Lord Shree Swaminarayan. It is a historical treatise of the Swaminarayan Faith, and describes the deeds performed by Lord Shree Swaminarayan and His spiritual descendants, through which, one is able to gain an understanding of the supreme philosophy and teachings of Lord Shree Swaminarayan.

Chapter 24 - Shree Gopalanand Swami - The Heir of Shreeji

As true and sovereign heir of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan, Shree Gopalanand Swami nourishes Karan Satsang and imparts correct understanding of grandeur of Shreejimaharaj to Nand-padvi santos and haribhaktos alike. Shree Brahmanand Swami and Shree Gunatitanand Swami preaches mahima and sovereignty of Shree Gopalanand Swami as Acharya of Swaminarayan Gadi. Shree Gopalanand Swami appoints Shree Nirgundasji Swami as the spiritual heir of Karan Satsang in Vadtal. After giving human darshan for 71 years, 3 months and 12 days, Shree Gopalanand Swami decides to withdraw human darshan.
