Kalol is central to Gujarat’s 3 major ‘Mega’ cities – Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Mehsana. Therefore, this industrial city is a very important rail and road transportation hub. It is situated on the banks of the Sabarmati River, in the Gandhinagar district of Gujarat. Accepting the prayers of the devout disciples of Kalol, a large plot of land was purchased on the main artery road of Kalol, and Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the opening of the magnificent Mandir in March 2015. 

During the afternoon of Sunday 26 March 2023, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj arrived in Kalol, where He was ceremonially welcomed into the Mandir. On Sunday 26 March 2023, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performed the eighth patotsav ceremony of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, and a lavish array of food in the form of a grand annakut was offered to the Lord. Disciples took this opportunity to hold scripture recitals and perform aarti to please the Lord.
