Sants and disciples from all over Gujarat gathered in Maninagardham, to celebrate the festive season of Diwali and the New Year in the divine presence of Gnan-mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj. The festival period commenced from the day of Rama Ekadashi, Friday 21 October 2022. From this day, a rangoli competition was held in the grounds of Maninagar Mandir.

For the duration of the Diwali and New Year festivities, disciples continued to gather in Maninagardham for darshan and to take part in the Dhan Teras celebrations on Saturday 22 October, the Sadguru Din Commemorations, Diwali and Chopda Pojan on Monday 24 October and the New Year Grand Annakut on Wednesday 26 October 2022. This day marked the start of Samvat 2079. 

Gnan-mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj bestowed New Year blessings to all the sants and disciples. This was broadcast live to disciples living all around the world. A truly magnificent Annakut, an array of food dishes, was beautifully arranged before the supreme Lord presiding in Maninagar Mandir. Acharya Swamiji performed aarti and offered the thaal to the supreme Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. Having performed the Annakut aarti in Maninagar Mandir, Acharya Swamishree travelled to perform darshan at Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir.

The Diwali celebrations were held in all the Mandir of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan within India and around the world. Acharya Swamiji Maharaj conveyed His greetings and divine blessings to the sants and disciples living in all these regions.
