The first Shikhar Bandh Mandir of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan situated in the Panchmahal region is Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Dhandhalpur.

This Mandir was created with the divine inspiration of Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and subsequently inaugurated by Gnan-mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj in 2021.

The first patotsav ceremony of the Mandir was celebrated on Wednesday 12 October 2022. Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performed the Shodshopchar adoration of the Lord presiding within the grand sinhasan of the Mandir. An annakut thaal was then offered, before disciples took the opportunity to perform aarti. Recitals of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato were held on behalf of disciples of Dhandhalpur and surrounding regions.

In His divine blessings, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj warned everyone not to become lured by false superstitions and blind faiths. He also described the dangers of addictions, as these invariably lead to a person’s decline, and with that, cause harm to that individual’s entire family. He added, “The place to remain afar from such bad influences is the Mandir of Lord Shree Swaminarayan; and that is why, to protect you all, Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj blessed the creation of this splendid Mandir. Ensure that you worship and attend the discourses held here. That ‘bhajan bhakti’ will be the armour to protect you from the false influences of the material world.”
