Day 1 Ladies Shibir - Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Suvarna Mahotsav

An integral part of the Suvarna Mahotsav are special afternoon events produced and delivered by ladies, for ladies. This initiative, inspired by Acharya Swamiji Maharaj, demonstrates the unique value and importance of women in the Sanstha, celebrating their devotion, talents and tireless contribution to the Swaminarayan Gadi Family.

These evenings have been organised by ladies from Mandals around the world; the first day of the Mahotsav saw an event delivered by the ladies of Maninagar and Vadodara, who performed Bhakti Nrutya and delivered a religious drama production.

Highlights of the event included a young disciple performing bharatnatyam while meticulously creating a "Swastik" symbol with her feet using kankoo, and a number of raas garba performances. A fantastic start for what will undoubtedly be a memorable series of shows.
