Day 1 Evening Bhakti Sangeet Highlight - Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Suvarna Mahotsav

Kirtan Bhakti was incredibly dear to our beloved Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa.

On the instruction of His Guru Shree Ishwarcharandasji Swami He wrote over 100 kirtans Himself; an invaluable gift to each and every haribhakto. Each mahotsav of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi invariably includes an evening of Bhakti Sangeet - the singing of devotional songs in wonderful concerts that evoke devotion.

Tonight’s Bhakti Sangeet was such a concert of kirtans from the Shree Harignanamrut Kavya scripture, performed by Jeevanpran Swamibapa’s beloved Sants.

Jeevanpran Swamibapa’s magnificent kirtans clearly describe the supremacy of Lord Shree Swaminarayan and contain the unparalleled tenets of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree. These have been compiled as the Shree Harignanamrut Kavya scripture - one of the scriptures being recited as part of the Suvarna Mahotsav.

The Sabha Mandap was full to the brim with disciples eagerly and patiently awaiting the darshan of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj, and for the evening to begin.

The kirtans were sung beautifully by Sants – a fitting tribute to and celebration of the magnificent scripture, Shree Harignanamrut Kavya, which our Gurudev blessed us with.

Tonight’s guest of honour was Parshottam Rupala, Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying - Govt. of India, Member of Parliament, who had the divine blessings of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj.
